You can help make sure that your package arrives safely and on time with these good packaging guidelines and procedures developed from Alltradepost research.

   1. Use a rigid box with flaps intact.
   2. Remove any labels, hazardous materials indicators, and other shipment markings from the box .
   3. Wrap all items separately.
   4. Use adequate cushioning material.
   5. Use strong tape designed for shipping.
   6. Do not use string or paper over-wrap.
   7. Use a single address label that has clear, complete delivery and return information.
   8. Place a duplicate address label inside the package.

Weight and Size Limits for Packages:
Alltrade Post has established specific weight and size limits for the packages that you send with all Alltradepost services. The restrictions below only pertain to individual packages. There are no limits  to the total weight of your shipment or the total number of packages in your shipment.
 
The chargeable weight of an individual parcel is the gross or volumetric weight rounded up to the nearest kilo. The nearest full kilo. Volumetric weight will be applied where the volume of any single parcel exceeds 6,000 cubic centimetres per kilo.

How to Measure Your Parcel Size
It is recommended that you calculate the Volumetric Weight for every parcel that you send then compare this to its actual weight. The greater weight of the two is used to calculate the price that we charge you.

Volumetric Weight is calculated using the formula below:
Length X Width X Height divided by 6000 = Volumetric Weight.
Weight and Size Restrictions for Parcels
Alltradepost has established specific weight and size restrictions for parcels on all services.

    *     Item over 2.5 metres in length
    *      Single items over 99 kilos
    *     Consignments over 100 kilos

Parcels that exceed the Alltradepost weight and size restrictions are subject to a Bulky/Heavy Consignment charge.
The limits listed above apply to most packages and destinations, but there are some variances because of
